I don't know how he does it! Marc has created yet another world of wonder. The world is a violent and strange one that you just find you want to know more about. Whisper, the main character, is fascinating and a wondrous creature herself. I am looking forward to more in this world.I highly recommend this book to all who like strange new worlds and spunky young females. Good for all ages.

Awesome...best book I have read in quite some time...and I read A lot of books...creative plot, character development, wow! The lands ...the creatures...can't wait for next book )
Once again I was drawn into the story and I wasn't released until I was finished. Beautiful story. I hope Whisper finds more of her kind and that she gets to the queen in time.
I have to admit the only reason I read this book is because I like the author. But I am VERY glad I read it. Whisper Alive is full of action, adventure, and self-discovery.This is a stay-up-all-night🌙-reading-it kind of book.💙💚💛
I'm constantly amazed by Marc's ability to invent totally new, believable worlds. It's a gift. In this new story we meet a creature who doesn't know exactly what she is, but then neither does the magician who summoned her. She soon learns her (superficial, I believe) purpose - to carry messages between people, and to create a path where none exists. This story moved quickly, but as with most of Marx's books, felt like there will be much more to say/discover about a 'whisper's' purpose.
I look forward to the next book...

A good read, a new and interesting slant on a world.
What a quirky little book. At first I thought I made a bad buy but thought I would read more pages and glad I did. The more I got to know the character the more I loved the book. Will definitely read the sequel to this.
